_MG_0058-HiResI am a Level 3 Forrest Yoga teacher, Yin Yoga teacher and iRest Yoga Nidra teacher, having training with world renowned teachers Ana Forrest and Bernie Clarke.

I discovered yoga in 2007 while living in Spain, and it truly changed my life. It gave me a way way of managing anxiety, building confidence and rediscovering my sparkle! It also helped me stay strong and supple during many years of sitting at a desk all day.

Having learned to open and strengthen my body through yoga, as well as increase my confidence and manage anxiety, my passion is to help my students do the same. I love seeing people experience the magic and peace of mind that yoga and meditation can bring.

The full story of how I got into yoga was published by The Yoga Diaries – read my story here.

The environment was really relaxed and friendly. I suffer from social anxiety so attending the course was a real achievement for me, after the first week I felt safe in the space and had no anxieties about going back the following week. I think Katie’s teaching style and positivity really make the class. I got the sense she understood everyone who was in the class and was able to sense what individuals needed. I also really enjoyed the homework as it encouraged me to take what I was learning back into my life and home. ~ Participant at my Introduction to Forrest Yoga Course at Merchant City Yoga, 2016 ~

Thank you so much for your wonderful workshop! I felt so light afterwards, both physically and mentally. I managed to write a massive number of journal pages that really got to the heart of what I have been dealing with lately. I had read that Forrest Yoga helps you to explore your truth.  I didn’t know it would manifest itself so tangibly.  It was just what I needed. You have a wonderful energy and a real skill for describing the journey into poses. ~ Workshop Participant, May 2017 ~

You’re an inspiring and wonderful teacher Katie! ~ Regular Client, June 2017 ~

Really enjoy your classes, Katie. It has helped enormously with my posture which wasn’t that great and helps me with my flexibility. ~ Corporate Client, Jan 2017 ~
