Yoga Nidra

Yoga Nidra is the art and practice of “Yogic Sleep” – a state of deep relaxation. Ideal for those who find it difficult to meditate alone. Yoga Nidra allows you to experience a meditative state without having formally “meditated”.

In this practice you are guided through a step-by-step process that allows your mind and body to move into an ever-more relaxed state, from which you can access your inner awareness. The brain switches from beta to alpha waves, signalling the transition from activity to meditation.

I trained in the iRest Yoga Nidra protocol, created by Richard Miller, PhD, a clinical psychologist, author, researcher, yogic scholar and founder of the Integrative Restoration Institute (IRI).
